Clothespin Crafts for Adults

If you are looking for fun clothespin crafts, you have come to the right place! This page is full of ideas scrounged from around the internet, all in a neat package for those looking for fun and creative things to make.

What crafts can you make with clothespins?

The clothespin crafts for adults are many and come in a variety of projects. Crafts you can make with clothespins are:

  • Clothespin wreaths
  • Clocks
  • Clothespin stars
  • Dragonflies
  • Butterflies
  • Clothespin trivets
  • Napkin holders
  • Clothespin ornaments
  • Clothespin crosses
  • And so much more!

There are many clothespin crafts for kids, and these are also fun to make.  However, the clothespin crafts for adults gathered on this page are much more elegant and useful.

A few of the items on this page can be done with the kiddos, but do take a look at the many clothespin crafts geared for the younger crowd.

Regular clip clothespins are used for many of the crafts here, and you will also find crafts made with doll pins, the clothespins that have a rounded top and slide on rather than clip.

For several of the clothespin crafts it is possible to use either type of clothespin; however, for some of them, it is important to make sure that the correct type is used.

Although I love all of the crafts on this page, several jumped out at me as ones I just have to try.

The clothespin trivet is something I would enjoy making and would use often. Earth Crunchy is the website that has very thorough directions for this project. The supply list is short and simple.

Items needed are clip clothespins with the metal spring removed, glue, and paint. A whole package of the clothespins for this trivet can be purchased at the Dollar Tree. This is a beautiful and inexpensive clothespin project!

I also found the clothespin Christmas tree ornament from Thrifty Jinxy both charming and very unique. This festive ornament would look beautiful hanging on the Christmas tree and would be a great gift or package decoration.

The great thing about clothespins is that they are very inexpensive and can be used to make some very classy projects.  Scroll down to find the next clothespin project that’s right for you!
