Cro-hooking is a fun and easy crochet technique. It is also referred to by a number of different names – cro-hook, cro-knitting, croknit, double hook crochet, crochenit and crochet on the double. Cro-hooking is a variation of Tunisian crochet and afghan stitch crochet.
What crochet hook do you use?
For cro-hooking, you need a cro-hook. The cro-hook is a special double-ended crochet hook that has a crochet hook on each side.
Cro-hooking creates a beautiful reversible item that looks as if it was knitted. Most often two different colors of yarn are used with one color predominately on one side of your project and the second color is predominately on the other side.
What can you make with a cro-hook?
- Dishcloths
- Afghans
- Coasters
- Scraves
- And more
