Nearly all crafters have heard talk of the Cricut Cutting Machine. This machine has changed so much about the way crafting is being done. Check out our How to Use My Cricut page to learn about this amazing cutting machine.
Yesterday I took a walk through a craft fair. It was amazing to see all of the wonderful crafts, many of them obviously made by a Cricut machine. Now, usually when I walk through a craft fair, I can for the most part say “I can make that”.
Well, it’s been a while since I’ve been to a craft show or fair, and yesterday I wasn’t able to say that. Because I don’t have, but badly want, a Cricut Cutting Machine!
If you are lucky enough to have a Cricut, this page is full of free Cricut projects to enjoy making. And if you don’t have a Cricut, after scrolling down to see the free Cricut projects for beginners, you will surely want one!
What can I make with a Cricut Cutting Machine?
The possibilities of what can be made with a Cricut are endless! A short list follows.
- Personalized cups, mugs, glasses…all kinds of kitchen and dinnerware
- Signs
- Pillows
- 3D flowers
- Pictures
- Cards and stationery
- Gift tags
- Magnets
- Mason Jar supplies
- Holiday decorations
- Home decor
- And so much more!
What can a Cricut Maker cut?
To be perfectly honest, the Cricut machine is able to cut hundreds of materials! The list is way too long to write here, but trust that it can cut very delicate fabrics, vinyl, very thin papers, leather, mat board, wood…and the list just goes on and on.
The Cricut machine has a drop down menu that can be used whenever making a project, giving choices of what material is being cut. It is also possible to make custom cut settings for cricut projects.
Scroll down to the long list of free Cricut projects to make. One of my favorites is the darling Reindeer Stocking Holder. It is so cute!!! Don’t miss this one from Down Red Bud Drive.
The DIY Spring Pillow from Heather Handmade allows the crafter to combine Cricut crafting with sewing! This one uses infusible ink to make the flowery spring design on the fabric pillow.
There is so much more to see below so go ahead and scroll down the page and browse all of the free Cricut projects to make. And for those just starting, we have many free beginner Cricut projects too!
