Machine applique is the process of sewing down fabric shapes onto a solid piece of fabric, such as a quilt block or used as an embellishment for pillows, totes, clothing, and other sewing projects, using a sewing machine.
It's a great technique to add to your quilt-making skills, enabling you to add various shapes, animals, trees, hearts, layered landscapes, buildings, symbols, and curved lettering to your quilts.
To help you understand and succeed with this technique, we have provided a beginner's guide video to machine applique along with several other video tutorials on machine applique.
