To make button bookmarks, you need large paper clips, old buttons with shanks and a hot glue gun.
Children should have adult supervision when using a hot glue gun.
1. Thread the paper clip through the button shank making sure it is at the top of paper clip. 2. Hot glue around the shank area to secure paper clip. 3. Allow to dry thoroughly.
It is that simple! The button bookmark is finished and ready for personal use or for gift giving.
These button bookmark have more uses than just to mark pages in reading books. You can use them to mark your place in notebooks, cookbooks, planners and binders.
