Kate and Chris made these cute machine embroidered animals with a pattern from Kreative Kiwi. See below for a link to the patterns.
Above you can see that I have sewn some animals onto lunch bags. This is a community service project for my quilt guild. We are making items to donate to a local NICU and these cute bags will be great for transporting milk to the NICU.
Kate has sewn two animals and is making a pillow for her bedroom. We will have a future video showing her finished project!
The animals are created in 2 hoopings and then the two pieces are connected together during the 2nd hooping. Full instructions on how to make the animals are included in a PDF with the pattern.
Joining the head and body sections together is the most complicated part of this project. We have a tutorial giving tips and showing how to join sections for designs like these.
I really love Kreative Kiwi's designs and have made several of them now. Look below for links to the patterns and other supplies you may want for this project.
