Chris decided to use hers as a wall hanging instead of a table runner so it can hang throughout the winter.
This design is created with an embroidery machine and comes with blocks that are stitched in either the 6x10 or 8x12 hoop. Chris made the 6x10 hoop size and the table runner turned out quite long.
Each animal block is a separate hooping. There are also several hoopings for the snowflake border blocks and snowflake corner blocks. These blocks take quite some time to embroider but we think you will agree that the result is stunning!
In the Animal blocks, Chris used Sulky Holoshimmer metallic thread for the snowflakes. This thread makes the snowflakes sparkle but it is pretty difficult to work with. Since the metallic was difficult to work with, for the snowflake blocks, Chris switched to using white thread.
