To make the candy sleighs, you will need candy canes, full size Kit Kat bars, Hershey Miniatures, Lindor Chocolates or other round chocolates, ribbon and a small bow. You will also need a hot glue gun.

Candy Sleigh Supplies To make the sleigh, first, run a small line of hot glue down one of the candy canes and glue it to the back of the Kit Kat bar. Have the candy cane directed up as shown in the photo.

Glue the 2nd candy cane to the bottom of the Kit Kat bar.

Next, put a small dab of glue onto the back of one of the Hershey's Miniatures and place it onto the top of the Kit Kat bar. You will need to put it so that it hangs over the front of the Kit Kat so that the 4 Hershey's Miniatures along the bottom row will be centered.

Glue 3 Hershey's Miniatures to make the second row and 2 on the 3rd row.

Add the ribbons by putting a small dab of glue on the top of the Lindor Chocolate. Then put the 13" ribbon across. Another small dab of glue and then put the 10" ribbon across the short way.

After the glue cools, flip the whole thing over in one hand and add a dab of glue to the bottom. Be sure not to touch the Kit Kat wrapper with the glue gun because it melts very easily. Wrap the ribbon around and glue it down. Add another dab of glue and glue the other part of the ribbon down. Repeat with the shorter ribbon so that both ribbons are glued to the bottom.

A friend, Maureen, made these candy sleighs and changed it to use a Hershey's chocolate with a Santa on the front. I like this idea too! Santa is riding on his sleigh.

We hope you have as much fun making these candy sleighs as we did! We were able to make a whole bunch of them in a short period of time. My kids are excited to hand these out to their teachers at school.
