Recently, I was making these garden dish flowers and I wanted to use copper tubing for the stems. (A tutorial on how to make the dish flower is at the end of this article.
The copper tubing was too long so I needed some sort of tool to cut it but did not want to spend a lot of money. I found this HDX Junior Tube Cutter. This cutter will cut copper and PVC tubing from 1/8” to 5/8” in diameter. It was the perfect tool for the job.
To learn how to use the cutter, watch this video and read on.

The HDX Junior Tube Cutter has a knob for opening the cutter jaw and cutting wheel to cut the tubing.
It is simple to use:
1. Just turn the knob to open the cutting jaw.
2. Line up cutting wheel on the tubing wherever you want to cut.
3. Tighten the cutting wheel with the knob.
4. Rotate the cutter around the tubing, tightening the knob every few turns.
5. Continue rotating and tightening.
I found this tool easy to use and it worked well for my project. Best part it was reasonably priced.
