How to Make a Cute and Inexpensive Easter basket

Isn't this Easter basket super cute? And it's an inexpensive project too! Learn how to make a cute and inexpensive Easter basket with items purchased at the dollar store.

The wire basket was purchased at Dollar Tree. I already had the ribbon with my craft supplies. But, ribbon is inexpensive at the dollar store. This project only cost me $1.00 to make.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• Wire basket
• Ribbon
• Scissors
• Hot Glue Gun

INSTRUCTIONS :

STEP 1

Simply weave the ribbon in and out around the basket without twisting or letting it fold over. Snap ribbon after each row leaving a little tail.

STEP 2

After weaving the entire basket, for each row start folding one end of ribbon over wire and glue in place. Take the other end of the ribbon and lay over folded ribbon and glue.

STEP 3

After all rows are glued, just add Easter grass and candy.

Voila! Your project is complete.

This basket can be made for other occasions too such as:

• Red, white and blue ribbon make a patriotic basket.
• Red and green for a Christmas basket.
• Red and White can be used for a Valentine's Day basket.
• Green and White can be used for a Saint Patrick's Day basket.
