WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Anita Goodesign Coaster & Wine Charms CD
- 8x12 or larger hoop
- Ultra Solvy Water Soluble Stabilizer
- Pellon Batting
- Applique & Charm fabric
- Embroidery Thread
- Bobbin Thread

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Each coaster and wine charm is created in the same hooping.
These designs are created using a freestanding embroidery technique.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR LIME, LEMON, ORANGE, KIWI, STRAWBERRY AND GREEN PEPPER COASTER
STEP 1: Hoop Stabilizer
STEP 2: Sew - This sews placement stitches.
STEP 3: Place applique fabric over placement stitch area.
STEP 4: Sew - This stitching is around the outside of the coaster and is the cutting line. However, I recommend not trimming the fabric at this point. Wait until I tell you later in the project.
STEP 5: Sew - This step machine embroiders the inner part of the coaster.
STEP 6: Place backing fabric on the back of the coaster by sliding the fabric backing and pellon batting under the stitched piece.
STEP 7: Sew - This stitches around the outside of the coaster.
STEP 8: Trim close to cutting line on the front and back of coaster.
STEP 9: Sew - This places a satin stitch around the border of the coaster. For this step make sure the bobbin thread matches the top thread because you will be able to see the stitching on the back of the coaster.
STEP 10: Tear stabilizer away.
THE COASTER IS FINISHED!
CHARM INSTRUCTIONS
