How to Crochet a Turning Chain


 

The trick to making a turning chain is to make the proper number of chains and start the new row in the correct stitch.

INSTRUCTIONS:

If you are working single crochets, at the end of the row:

Chain once.

Turn your work.

Insert the hook in the first stitch.

Some people prefer to turn the work first and then chain. Either way is correct. This is entirely up to you.
