Learn how to make an Origami Paper Folded Swan

Origami Swan

To make a paper swan, start with a piece of paper around 8.5" x 11". You can also start with a square piece of paper any size to make different sized swans.

Step 1: Start by folding the paper down as shown.

Step 2: Cut off the extra paper below the folded section as shown. Open the paper up.

Step 3: Fold in one side to the center as shown.

Step 4: Fold in the other side to the center as shown. Make sure to crease it.

Step 5: Turn the paper over.

Step 6: Fold in one side to the center again as shown.

Step 7: Fold in the other side to the center again. Your paper should look like the photo below.

Step 8: Fold the top pointed section down to meet the bottom as shown.

Step 9: Fold the tip back as shown.

Step 10: Fold the back up towards the center.
