Anyone can learn to knit with a knook!
A knook is a needlework tool. It is a specialized crochet hook with a crochet hook on one end and an eye at the non-hook end. This tool allows you to create knit fabric without knitting needles.
To learn to knook you will need a knook, cord, yarn, instructions and a pattern.
The knook can be purchased individually or in kits. If you are new to knooking, I would suggest that you purchase a kit because it includes everything you need to learn this knitting technique except the yarn. You can purchase a knook or knook kit from one of the following affiliate links.
After learning to knook, you can advance your knooking by learning other techniques such as how to increase and decrease, the cable stitches, how to make ribbing, etc. We have searched the internet and found some terrific free tutorials to teach you how to do these techniques. You will find them on our Knook Tutorial page.
If you are left-handed, some of the tutorials are especially for you.
Finally, don't miss our free knook projects and patterns page with many links for projects to get you started in knooking.
