Free Arm Knitting Projects and Patterns

If you are anything like me, you enjoy trying every new trend out there in the crafting world.

I have to say, arm knitting projects were definitely on my bucket list of new trends to try, and I can tell you with authority that this is something that is going to be around for a long time.

Well, if it turns out to be a trendy style of knitting, arm knitting is going to stay in style for me!

What is Arm Knitting?

Both arm knitting projects and needle knitting projects produce lovely results.  You’re going to find that arm knitting is not quite as precise as knitting with needles.

And that’s exactly what makes arm knitting so much fun!  You don’t have to worry so much about tension and perfection.

In the end, arm knitting patterns produce a final piece that is malleable, and as you move it around, the stitches shift and become more uniform.

It is much more like moving loops from side to side than winding yarn in very specific ways to create perfect stitches that you find in traditional knitting. It still feels like you’re working with the yarn only in a different way.
