Spring Is In the Air

It’s still cold here in the Northeast and as the wind is blowing and the sky is gray, but it is time to start thinking about spring and knitted Easter projects!

I saw the easy-to-knit hens that cover Easter eggs and had a memory jog taking me back to my childhood when my grandmother had very similar knitted hens on display each Easter season.

 Looking over the free Easter knitting pattern, I saw that it was fairly easy to do for those with intermediate knitting experience.

Knitted toys are a fun addition to any child’s Easter basket.  We have several cute eggs, bunnies, finger puppets, and chick buddies you could whip up to slip into the basket.

My favorite knitted toy below is a beautiful bunny doll that will be a loved up and cuddled just right. She is much more on the side of pretty than cutsie.  As a child, I would have loved to have found one of these fancy knitted bunny dolls waiting for me on Easter morning.
