Every time I go to the dollar store, I discover something new that I can use for a craft project. Recently, I found these small mittens, two pair for $1.
My granddaughter enjoys playing with her 18-inch dolls and immediately I thought I could make socks for her doll with mittens.

SUPPLIES NEEDED:
- Mini Mittens (Dollar Store)
- Basic Sewing Supplies
HOW TO MAKE Doll SOCKS from mittens
STEP 1: Turn the sock inside out.
STEP 2: Sew along thumb
With the sewing machine sew a seam along the thumb. You can also hand stitch along the thumb by using the backstitch. Click the link for a backstitch tutorial.
STEP 3: Cut the thumb section off close to the seam.
STEP 4: Turn the sock right side out.
FAST & EASY. The doll sock is complete.
