There is an unusually shaped front pocket and flap with three big buttons for a decorative accent. A magnetic snap keeps the bag securely closed but also permits the bag to be easily opened.![Melford Messenger Bag]()
The front has two contrasting fabrics. Annette's used a wool fabric she quilted herself and a cork fabric.
The strap can be a self-made fabric strap or a store brought strap. For this bag, Annette made the strap.
The bag is completely lined with an interior pocket.
