How to make a Chair for a Fashion Doll (Easy!)

How to make a Chair for a Fashion Doll (Easy!)

ITEMS NEEDED TO MAKE DOLL CHAIR:

  • Empty Sour Cream Container (16 ounce)
  • Knit Fabric - One piece approximately 13" square and one piece 7 or 8" square. Note: Fabric can be from an old tee shirt.
  • Marker
  • Scissor
  • Plastic bag
  • Piece of scrap paper
  • Pencil

STEP 1: MAKE A TEMPLATE FOR THE CHAIR BACK

Cut a piece of paper the height of the sour cream container and the width should go halfway around the container.

Fold the paper in half.

Draw the desired shape for the back of the chair on the paper and with scissors, cut out the template.Fashion Doll Chair - 2

STEP 2: MAKE BODY OF THE CHAIR

Place template on the sour cream container. With a marker, draw the template shape onto the sour cream container.

Connect the lines on the front of chair by drawing a straight line between them. Use a scissor to cut out the body of the chair.

STEP 3: FINISHING THE CHAIR

Place chair diagonally on the 13" square piece of knit fabric.

Stretch and tuck the fabric inside the chair.

Make a cushion for the chair by taking the smaller piece of knit fabric, placing a crumbled up plastic bag in the middle and folding the knit fabric over the plastic bag.

Place the cushion inside the chair.

Viola! The chair is complete and ready for fashion dolls to use.Finished Fashion doll chair
