Does the Cricut cut fabric well?
The short answer is yes, most Cricut machines can cut fabric. The Cricut Maker is definitely the best in the series for cutting fabric because with this style the fabric doesn’t have to be bonded first.
The Cricut Maker has a rotary blade, unlike the others in the Cricut series, so fabric cuts easily without a stabilizer. The rotary blade, compared to the fine tip blade in other Cricut machines, doesn’t pull at the fabric.
The rotary blade in the Cricut Maker can cut hundreds of different materials perfectly without errors the first time it is used. This model can cut up to three layers of fabric at a time which is great for Cricut quilting patterns and Cricut sewing patterns.
As you scroll down this page, you will find many fun and interesting sewing projects to experiment with.
